Pearls scattered across the waters surrounding the three main islands of the Philippines - Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao (“Luzviminda”) - hint at the country’s natural and cultural wealth. Pearls are the centerpiece of the Luzviminda line of pendants that are represented by eight ladies in traditional Filipino wear, ranging from the tribal dress of the B’laan, Bagobo and T’boli, to the mestiza and camisa de chino styles of the Spanish colonial period. Each gold piece is encrusted with gemstones such as sapphires, tsavorites and diamonds.
